ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Josh Thone is an award-winning performer blending the timeless elegance of jazz with the heart of musical theatre storytelling, with work spanning the Midwest and East Coast. Originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, he has appeared on stages from Milwaukee to New York City, including Lincoln Center as a finalist in the NextGen Vocal Competition and Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre for the 2022 Jimmy Awards. He recently made his New York City solo show debut at 54 Below, further establishing his presence in the cabaret scene. A BroadwayWorld Award winner for Best Concert/Cabaret/Solo Performance and recipient of Best Leading Actor at the 2022 Center Stage Awards, Josh has also been recognized as a Top 15 Finalist in BroadwayWorld’s Next On Stage Competition and winner of the Seth Rudetsky Matthew Morrison Sing-off Contest. His work extends beyond performance into original music developed in collaboration with Frogwater and recorded in Milwaukee, as well as producing sold-out productions through his company, Josh Thone and Company LLC, highlighting his voice as both a dynamic performer and creative leader.
